A photoshop developer named Chris Cox over at Adobe had this to say (Bugmenot Required) about the linux desktop, in response to a user’s request for a linux port:

What kind of crap is this?
Fitzgibbons [the defending lawyer] said in July that plea negotiations had broken off because prosecutors insisted on prison time, which he said would be too dangerous for someone as attractive as Lafave.
I really hope that didn’t have anything to do with the judge’s desicion… would be a very sad day [...]

So I needed to install Windows. I wasn’t happy about it, in fact I was nearly in tears but it had to be done no thanks to a software company finally releasing a highly anticipated game a [...]

The latest issue of WIRED came with a CD with 16 songs licensed under a new set of licences from creativecommons that permits you to rip, sample, mash, and share.
Unfortunetly the question I quickly asked myself was “Why would I want to?” because most of the songs on the CD are terrible. There’s some new [...]

This certanly could be the most ridiculus thing i’ve seen, uh, well this month.
School District Bans Halloween
PUYALLUP - A local school district is banning Halloween parties because children dressed up as witches might be offensive to real witches.
Apparently our concept of “witches” comes from a religion called “Wiccan“. The Wiccans are upset because they [...]
