SearchButton for Firefox
Before I accidently destroyed my Firefox profile I had this great extension called “Search Button” that among many other things will clear the search bar after pressing enter. I guess you have to use Linux to understand why this is such a revolution.
While rebuilding my Firefox profile I was very upset to find out that the website hosting the extension seemed to have vanished, and even more upset to find that all the different Mozilla extension sites linked to the file on the website, rather than mirroing it locally.
Fortunetly using my amazing google abilities I have found a site deticated to mirroring mozilla extensions, and home of possibly the only mirror of this great extension. I’ve also saved a local copy of it just incase these guys disappear as well.

thank you, I’ve been searching for this button for a while. I found a post recently from the author about the latest version of the button 4.4 for FireFox 1.0PR and he seemed to be oblivious to the fact that his site didn’t work.
