So I just had to try out PearPC, a PowerPC (G3/G4) emulator that claims it can run Mac OSX. I have tried other Mac emulators in the past but never got very far, but the screenshots and hype surrounding this one got me curious enough to get a copy of Mac OSX 10.3 and give it a try.
The installation took a long time. A very long time. At least 5 hours.

So after being very patient success! I had a finder!. This of course was promptly followed by the finder vanishing, relaunching, vanishing, etc..
So the emulator isn’t perfect yet, but it looks like someone else submitted a bug report regarding this problem so hopefully in a few day’s I’ll be able to use it!
I’m amazed with what the developers were able to acomplish and vrey much look forward to seeing where the project goes.
